Footium x Little Atlas 🗺️
Following the success of our recent community event we have partnered with Little Atlas to take real-world community events with Footium to the next level! Through Little Atlas & holding a Footium club, you will be able to place yourself on an interactive world map of Club Owners, find locals who are part of the community in your city, and easily organise local meet-up events across the globe:
Visit the Footium portal and connect your wallet to verify you own a club
Pick your home city and optionally connect your Twitter account to set up your profile
View a map of holders and organise a local meetup
The map connects Club Owners in local areas around and makes it easier to organise real-life events, from teaming up for a 5-a-side match, attending a Football game live to watching a Footium game together!
The Footium map got revealed on Wednesday with over 120 Club Owners already pinning their club to the nearest town/city! It is amazing to see how worldwide Footium is and are super excited to see some Footium meet-ups in the coming months and will be looking to support them in any way we can. Please DM Sam on Discord/Twitter if you want support organising anything!

Do I have to connect my wallet?
You will need to connect your wallet on Little Atlas to verify you own a Footium Club. Little Atlas does not require any on-chain transactions, and they will only ask you to sign a message on sign-in similar to submitting your Footium lineup. They support delegate.cash, which lets you use a proxy wallet instead of your cold wallet!

FIFA Tournament with OneFootball 🎮
Who doesn't love a FIFA Tournament - especially now Footium are in the game! We are delighted to be participating in the OneFootball FIFA tournament alongside other web3 communities and streamers!
Representing the Footium community in the tournament will be none other than Creet Towns DJ | Creet Town & Alth Rangers! The event will be happening on Monday the 30th of January with a start time of 7pm (UK Time).
If we win the tournament our community will receive a signed pair of Paulo Dybala boots which we will give away alongside other prizes!

The Football Management Games Derby 😉
Calling all Leyton Orient fans and local members of the Footium community - We are giving away 2x tickets to the Football Management Games Derby (Leyton Orient v AFC Wimbledon) on Saturday the 4th of February.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday the 1st of February - don't miss out on the chance to see the high-flying O's!
The competition is for a pair of tickets so there will only be one winner.
Next Week 🔜
Now that the dust has settled on our latest round of beta testing, the team are hard at work on the development of Footium. We are working through all of the feedback we received and some other key areas/aspects that we would like to improve moving forward. With the next beta likely being in the next few months with all 3060 clubs taking part we want to keep our community as close to development as possible. From Tuesday next week, we will be starting bi-weekly development updates which will thoroughly communicate what the team has been working on and what have planned for the following weeks. Keep your eye out for that and some more behind-the-scenes content next week!
