Footium Weekly Update

Get Ready for Kickoff!

The playtest is set to start on Tuesday, 8th of August, so clear your schedules and prepare to dive into your club’s manager’s office. On this day, you’ll receive your squad and fixtures. Squad generation has vastly improved for this playtest but don’t fret if you want to tinker with your team to fit your total Football philosophy; you’ll have three whole days to make those crucial trades and transfers before the matches kick off on Friday, 11th of August.

There will then be 11 days of daily matches. The final day of the season will take place on Monday, 21st August, so make every match count!

This addition, along with the revamped layout for live matches, brings together lineups, commentary, stats, live scores, and so much more, all on one dynamic and user-friendly page. Get ready to immerse yourself in your Footium match like never before, because this combination is a game-changer!

Quest Season 2

Alongside this playtest season, we will also be kicking off another season of quests with three Division 3/4 Footium Clubs up for grabs (yes you read that right, THREE entire Div 3/4 clubs are yours to win)! There will be some quests that only playtest users will be able to do, but the majority will be normal quests for the whole community — the prize structure this season will mean that even if you do one quest, you will be in the draw to win a Division 3/4 Club.

If you didn’t take part in quests last season, you complete these quests to earn XP, which will be tracked on a leader board. The leader board will be open for a limited time and will close on Tuesday, 22nd of August.

Prizes:

1st — 5th Place: Entered into a weighted draw for a Division 3/4 Club

6th — 25th Place: Entered into a weighted draw for a Division 3/4 Club

26th Place & Above: Entered into a weighted draw for a Division 3/4 Club

Every 100xp is an entry into the weighted draw at the end of the season, so every quest completed will give you a greater chance of winning!

Footium x Leyton Orient

We are thrilled to announce that our partnership with Leyton Orient Football Club has been extended for another year & Footium will be Leyton Orient men's & women's official back of shorts sponsor on all three kits for the 2023/2024 season.

We are really excited to be working with the club for another year and many more exciting initiatives, including Leyton Orient becoming the first-ever professional Football Club to own and run a Footium Club!
